Afridi arrested: IHC to indict SSP, DPO on Aug 28

The officials involved in the arrest of Shehryar Afridi despite a court order for him to be released were charged with contempt of court.

The SHO and DPO have been issued a show-cause notice for their failure to comply with the rules.

A lease agreement for the property of PTI Shehyar Afridi was issued by Justice Babar Sattar on August 16 for the duration of his tenure as PTI leader.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) had earlier in the year filed a lawsuit against the District Commissioner (DC) Irfan Memon and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Jameel Zafar, alleging that the authorities had violated the law. After Shehryar Afridi was arrested by the police, a court ordered that she was to be punished for contempt of court for violating the court's order as a result of his arrest.

There was a show-cause hearing presided over by Justice Babar Sattar, in the IHC case, in which the court expressed its dissatisfaction with the respondent's response to the complaint, in which the court expressed its dissatisfaction with the respondent's response to the complaint.

As per reports, DC Islamabad Irfan Memon, and SSP Operations Jameel Zafar, have been named to be the two people who have been accused of violating a prior court ruling relating to the maintenance of public order (MPO). This relates to a previous ruling that had been made by the court relating to the MPO.

He was nullified as a result of a petition which was filed by Shehryar Afridi in June, which resulted in the High Court nullifying his MPO.

On the 21st of July, an updated MPO against Afridi was issued based on the source reports that the District Magistrate had received from a variety of sources on which the MPO was based. In the wake of Rawalpindi's MPO expiring, the DC of Rawalpindi has decided that the order should be renewed immediately after the expiration of Rawalpindi's MPO.

Since the DC and SSP both appeared to disrespect the authority of the High Court by their actions, the court declared that their actions undermined the credibility of the justice system as a whole as a result of their actions undermining the credibility of the justice system.

In this case, the court's decision led to an executive order that lacked respect for the justice system as a whole. However, it also expressed a lack of respect for the justice system as a whole.

A letter from the Attorney General to the District Magistrate informed him that he had been provided with all the details of the case in a detailed manner. There is no satisfaction with the response provided by SSP Jameel Zafar in response to its letter.

As well as that, Jameel Zafar was also found to have ignored the court's orders and treated the source report as a mere formality, disregarding the court's orders in a way that was in direct violation of the court's orders. As a result, the Inspector General of Police (IG) of Islamabad has to identify the people who are responsible for collecting the source information from the police stations and the district police officers of the city.

During the last hearing, our legal team served the SHO and DPO with notices of show cause. They will be given the opportunity to respond to these notices when the time comes for the next hearing.

A DC Irfan Memon and a SSP Jameel Zafar have been charged for alleged crimes related to an incident that occurred on the 28th of August that occurred in Delhi.
