The murder case has been invalidated by the decision of a bench of Justices Gul Hasan Tareen and Naeem Akhtar Afghan of the BHC. This decision has resulted in the death penalty being imposed on the accused in the murder case as a result of the decision of the bench. There was additionally a copy of the arrest warrant that had been issued by a judicial magistrate who had issued the warrant for Khan that was included in the report.

In the wake of the court's decision, Imran Khan's lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjutha, took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the dismissal of the case against him. Panjutha expressed his satisfaction with the court's decision, which he attributed to the judicial decision.

Immediately following the announcement of this verdict, the chairman of the PTI announced that he had suffered the consequences of a false case that had been brought against him. Nevertheless, he called it a vindication for himself.
