Dravid calls for more flexibility in India's T20I lineup
The Dia and West Indies T20I series ended in a 3-2 loss for Dia as they lost the series by 8 runs.

The 50-over World Cup is just around the corner, and Dravid believes that India's batting needs to improve greatly.
It was a disappointing day for Indian coach Rahul Dravid after the team suffered a 3-2 loss to the West Indies on Sunday due to an ineffective batting display by the team. Three Twenty20 Internationals were played during this series as part of the selection process.
The loss of the series led Dravid to tell reporters in a press conference that India's batting depth must be strengthened in order to prepare for the World Cup in 50 overs, which begins on June 24.
It must be noted that even after going down 2-0 to the Americans in the five-game series, a few young Indian players who lack the standing of more prominent players played with grit and resilience. The team put in a lot of effort, but ultimately, they were unable to win the match, having lost by eight wickets at Lauderhill, even though they tried their best. It was Brandon King, one of the key players for the West Indies team, who remained unbeaten with 85 as he chased the target.
In order to support the Indian middle order and lower order, Suryakumar Yadav of the Indian middle order and lower order contributed 61 runs off 45 balls to the team's score. This resulted in India being able to score 165-9 in 20 overs, which was a good score for them to score in such a limited amount of time. West Indies, with the help of Nicholas Pooran (47) who contributed to the team's achievement of 171-2 in just 18 overs, were able to reach this notable milestone.

As a result of a difficult start to the series, India displayed bravery in squaring the series. Despite emphasizing the potential of the team's batsmen, he warned that there is still room for improvement in order for the team to be competitive.
