Putin writes Kim Jong-un a warm note

It is in response to the escalating tensions between Pyongyang and the Russian government that the Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, a prominent member of the Russian government, visited Pyongyang on Wednesday. The North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has received a letter, written by Russian President Vladimir Putin, aimed at reducing tensions in the region.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reports North Korean leader Kim Jong-un thanked Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for sending him a letter during their meeting at the North Korean Embassy in Washington on Thursday.

On the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War, a representative from the Russian Federation made a stop in the country to commemorate the end of this war, as well as the end of the Korean War, during his visit to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War, which was fought between 1950 and 1953.

It was not only Kim and Shoigu who discussed the strategic and traditional relations between DPRK and Russia but also how better mutual understanding between the two countries can be achieved, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

Besides meeting with the Russian minister, he also met with the foreign and defense ministries of the countries in which he was traveling during an exhibition at which he met the foreign and defense ministries of the countries in which he was traveling. As part of his tour of the country, he had the opportunity to see a variety of weapons and equipment developed by the country's arms industry, and he described these as "new types" of weapons in his description of the objects he saw.

During his meeting with his counterpart Kang Sun-nam, Japanese President Shoigu praised the "rich history of cooperation" between the two countries, before stating that peace and stability would be maintained on the Korean peninsula through regular military exchanges between the two countries.

The Russian Defence Minister, Sergei Shoigu, issued the following statement earlier this year on behalf of his country: "For Russia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is an important partner with whom we share a shared border and have maintained long-term and rich ties of cooperation.

It was also announced that footage from a roundtable meeting held by the Russian Ministry of Defense with officials was released during the roundtable, described as "contributing to strengthening relations between the Russian and American Defense Ministries".

The North Korean border with China was closed in the aftermath of the pandemic, and for the first time in its history, delegations from other countries visited the country. At Pyongyang's city hall, Russian and Chinese citizens participated in international celebrations commemorating the Korean War's anniversary.

From the very first moment that Shoigu saw his Korean friends' attention and care for him, he could feel the utmost care and concern being shown to him. His attendance at such an impressive program was very encouraging and he felt blessed to have been able to attend such an amazing event.

Because Russia has been an ally of North Korea for a very long time, the country has been able to maintain friendly relations with Russia, making it one of the few countries in the world with this kind of relationship.

Despite the fact that "the United States and its satellites continue to conduct hegemonic activities," the North Korean foreign ministry stated last year that North Korea and Russia's relations have reached a new level of strategic development.

In February 2022, the United States of America imposed several sanctions on the Russian Federation for its launch of a special military operation targeting Ukraine, which was followed by several military operations. North Korea has rejected these sanctions as a result of these sanctions.
